Puppy Paralysis
(Fibrocartilaginous Embolus, FCE)

The IWHG is assisting the University of Nottingham with research into fibrocartilagenous embolism (FCE, puppy paralysis). Irish Wolfhounds are the only breed where this occurs in puppies as most breeds are affected at around five or six.

We hope that this research will discover the cause/s of FCE and determine the most effective treatment for a positive outcome.
